Selecting
your wedding invitations is an extremely important, and fun part of planning
your wedding. PaperLove Invitations has come up with a list of frequently
asked questions, to help you feel more comfortable about any questions
that you may have regarding your invitations. Of course, if you don't
find the answer to your questions here, feel free to contact us either
through e-mail (infoatpaperloveinvitations.com), or by phone, we're glad
to help in anyway that we can.
Do
you offer a catalog?
At this time, we do not offer a catalog. We feel that ordering an actual
sample gives you the best confirmation that there is in our selected papers
and craftsmanship.
Can
I set up an appointment?
At this time, because our seasons are so booked, we now charge a non-refundable custom consultation fee of $125 that is applied toward your order.
Can
I use your invitations for an upcoming event that isn't a wedding?
Of course! We'd love nothing more than to see our invitations used for
an event that you see fit: corporate events, anniversaries, bar/bat mitzvahs,
birthdays etc...We still recommend checking out our production
schedule section to make sure you can get your invitations on time.
When
should I order my invitations?
We
recommend you allow at least 4-5 months. Of course, its best to place your
order as soon as your plans are finalized. During peak season, it normally
takes the full time to produce your order.
When
is peak season?
Peak season is usually from January through May. There are other shorter
busy periods throughout the year as well.
Once
I submit my order, how long will it take for me to get my invitations?
After submitting an order, the complete process will take between 8-10
weeks, allowing for proofing and production time combined.
How long will it take to get my invitations once I approve my proofs?
Once the proofs have been received with all approval signatures, production
will vary depending on what type of invitation you've ordered. Allow for the complete
production time during peak season.
Handmade: 4-6 weeks from time of proof approval
Letterpress: 5-8 weeks from time of proof approval
Offset: 3-5 weeks from time of proof approval
What
response date should I use on my RSVP cards?
Depending on how soon the wedding is, when the caterer needs the information
or how you feel most comfortable, response dates are normally set between
2-4 weeks before the wedding. Keep in mind that some guests won't respond
and you'll need time to get those responses.
When
should I mail my invitations?
Invitations should be sent out 6-8 weeks before the wedding.
Do
your invitations require any special instructions for mailing?
Our invitations vary in size and weight. For example, square invitations
will need extra postage to send. We recommend taking an invitation to
the post office to get weighed, so you'll know how much postage will need
to be applied. We also recommend that you request the postal service to
hand-cancel your invitations to avoid any accidents that may result when
invitations are machine feed. Many post offices prefer that you call them
in advance to find out when they are least busy, or to schedule an appointment,
so they can accommodate your hand-cancelling requests. Sometimes they
will even give you the stamp to cancel them yourself, if they're too busy!
Due to the handmade nature of our invitations we cannot guarantee machine
feed invitations.
Do
I need a reception card?
You may choose to enclose a reception card, if your reception is held
at a different location other than your wedding. It is more formal to
send a reception card, however, you may also choose to place your reception
wording after the invitation text.
Can
I get programs to match my invitations?
Definitely. As a compliment to your invitations, we offer programs, save-the-dates,
menus, announcements, place cards, and any other item you may think of.
These items are priced and created on a project per project basis. If
you are interested in adding any of these to your order, e-mail (infoatpaperloveinvitations.com)
us with your ideas to explore the possibilities.
Can
I order extra envelopes?
PaperLove Invitations sells additional outer and rsvp envelopes for
your calligrapher, or in case you'd like extra outer envelopes for potential
errors when filling out your addresses. All additional envelopes are sold
at $1.00 each. Additional envelopes will come printed with the corresponding
verbage used when you fill out your order form, unless otherwise noted.
Can
I have my guest addresses printed on my outer envelopes?
Yes, PaperLove Invitations offers this service. Guest addresses can
be printed on your outer envelopes for an additional $1.00 per envelope.
Please make sure that your guest list is complete and spell checked. Guest
lists are accepted in Word documents only and cannot be amended once submitted.

my envelopes be shipped early?

fee of $10.00. Envelopes will be shipped 1-2 weeks after all proofs have
been approved, by UPS Ground shipping. PaperLove Invitations is not responsible

Can
you do a rush order?
PaperLove Invitations makes great effort to ensure the best quality of
our invitations and under normal circumstances take between 4-8 weeks
to produce (depending on what type of invitation you've ordered). Rush orders are handled on a time-sensitive basis and are
only handled if there is room in the production schedule. If you need
your invitations sooner than the 8-10 weeks, please contact us, so that
we can check our production schedule to see if we can meet your dates. Rush fees may apply.
What
if I need to cancel my order?
We hope you have no need to cancel your order, but if you need to please
do so immediately. If you cancel prior to signing off on your proofs,
a $50 typesetting fee will be charged, and you will be refunded the remaining
balance. However, once you have signed off on your proofs, a refund cannot
be given.
